Why should I clean my grinder regularly? 2

A clean grinder is the foundation for a hygienic and pleasant smoking experience. Regular maintenance is important not only to remove deposits like resin or oil residue, but also to ensure the functionality and longevity of your grinder. With a few simple cleaning steps, your grinder will always be ready for use and as good as new.

This is how it works:

  1. Preparation:
    • You need a stove, a pot and milk with at least 3.5% fat.
    • Optional: Cotton swabs for stubborn corners.
  2. Heating:
    • Pour 0.5–1 liter of milk into the pot and heat it without boiling. It should be hot, but not bubbling.
    • Place the individual parts of the grinder or grinder card into the milk.
  3. Cleaning process:
    • Let the pieces steep in the hot milk for 5-10 minutes.
    • Use a cotton swab for hard-to-reach areas.
  4. Diploma:
    • Rinse the individual parts thoroughly with warm water.
    • Dry them completely to avoid rust.

Why milk?

  • Degreasing effect: Removes resin and oil residues effortlessly.
  • Easy implementation: No expensive accessories required.
  • Fast: The entire cleaning process only takes about 15 minutes.
  • Environmentally friendly: The milk can (theoretically) be reused.

A notice:
Please be careful if you plan to drink the milk, as it may contain residue. To be on the safe side, dispose of it after cleaning.
