How to clean your grinder
There are numerous methods for cleaning a grinder available online – from isopropyl alcohol to hot water to the dishwasher. However, not every method is suitable for all materials. Especially with high-quality products like our grinders and grinder cards made of stainless steel and aluminum, caution is required to ensure longevity and hygiene.
At MedGrind, we've tested all common cleaning methods and developed a simple step-by-step guide specifically tailored to our products. This way, we not only guarantee optimal cleaning, but also maintain the quality and functionality of your grinder.

This is how it works:
-
Preparation:
- You need a stove, a pot and milk with at least 3.5% fat.
- Optional: Cotton swabs for stubborn corners.
-

- Place the individual parts of the grinder or grinder card into the milk.
-
Cleaning process:
- Let the pieces steep in the hot milk for 5-10 minutes.
- Use a cotton swab for hard-to-reach areas.
-
Diploma:
- Rinse the individual parts thoroughly with warm water.
- Dry them completely to avoid rust.
Why milk?
Degreasing effect: Removes resin and oil residues effortlessly.
Easy implementation: No expensive accessories required.
Fast: The entire cleaning process only takes about 15 minutes.
Environmentally friendly: The milk can (theoretically) be reused.
Note: The milk may contain residues, so we recommend disposing of it after cleaning and strongly advise against consumption.
